Catcher Highlights

Yan Gomes (Cleveland). After the top two catchers come off the board, I let my fellow drafters grab a few other guys at the position before swooping in for Gomes. He's reliable for a respectable batting average and quality power at the position, he's entering his peak years and he looked excellent in his first stint with the full-time catching role last year.

Derek Norris (San Diego). The Padres lineup has excellent potential this season, something that still feels odd to see in writing. Norris wasn't the highest-profile addition by the team this offseason, but that just means he's flying under the radar in fantasy leagues. He's shown an excellent batting eye and enough power to finish the season as a top-10 option at the position, which higher to climb if he reaches his potential.
