CBS Sportsline Question

Postby deldawg39 » Thu Feb 17, 2005 12:21 pm

As commish i want my legue to join cbs...however, last yr we went to yahoo because yahoo allows for daily rotations, which can be done mulitple days in advance...does anyone know if this has been changed?

and, knowing what we are looking for as far as league set up is concerned here are my thoughts

yahoo does not offer the following:

weighed head to head categories (i wanted to have certain category wins worth more than others...i.e. saves vs holds, etc)

scoring categories of Blown Save, Quality Start, & Batting Avg Against

the ability to pick tie breakers (default is winning pct)

We would have to revert back to last years point modifyers and hope that the tiebreakers don't ruin the integrity of the playoff seedings

does anyone know if cbs has changed the ability ot rotate days in advance? (i do know that you can rotate your roster on the day of 30 mins beofre the game time, where as last year it was noon.

Check out TQStats.com

They are pretty good and we have used them for a few years. They will do anything you ask them to do.

I thought they were one of the leagues no longer allowed to run FB games?
My apologies. I have a nephew named Anfernee, and I know how mad he gets when I call him Anthony. Almost as mad as I get when I think about the fact that my sister named him Anfernee.

That is one of CBS's new features this year....To be able to set your daily lineup many days in advance.

I thought that they weren't active as well, being under the CDM Fantasy Sport company that is suing MLBAM... unless I'm mistaken

This scares the hell out of me. I jst called TQSTATS and they said that they are involved in the lawsuit but that they dont feel it will hinder this year. They anticipate it taking a couple of years before a ruling is made.

I dont know what to do. I paid the money for our league already thi syear and they are the only league that give us the ability to split the season into two differant seasons.

Those MLB pricks!!!
