Oddly enough, these two are the same way for me...especially Sheffield, I haven't owned him in about 6 years...

This is a good spot to look for quasi-sleepers. All of these guys tend to be undervalued.

Bonds, Jason Kendall, Eric Chavez, Derek Jeter, Bobby Abreu...

For Chavez, I guess, I just don't like that BA. I don't like Bonds' ABs. The other three, something about them just bugs me.

I suppose Randy Johnson can be added to the list; I haven't gone near him for years, because I'm always convinced he'll be going down with an injury.

Pujols, too; I never get in the top half of the first round of my draft, how could I hope to have drafted him?!

How come everyone doesn't like Bonds?

Anyway, Jeter, Ichiro, Helton. Add Crawford to this. All of them I think are drafted higher than they should be (Helton's power stats are far too low to warrant a first round pick at such a deep position-and yes I know his BA is nice. You're getting a huge dropoff from Pujols, who was only taken like 5-6 picks before).

I don't include Bonds because you need to fill 3 OF positions - hence I think 1st round (depending on health) is justified. The low ABs doesn't matter as much as people think - if he bats at .360, it will be worth more than drafting a batter who hits .330.
