This isn't his Major league draft, it's a Minor league one. They are prolly doing it on a message board or something.

I think anyone who was ever on the 40-man roster was eligible for the draft. Other than Young (who I picked in hte 16th round, 211th overall pick), Ian Stewart, Jeff Francis Daric Barton and Ande Marte were among the other prospects who never really played in an MLB game that were taken, so I figure they were on the 40-man roster. Felix though was not, and I was able to snag him in the Minors/Undrafted Players draft.

Our Minor League draft is on an FBC board - Keeper Cap League ;-D

I know the original poster is done with his draft, but I think that Young, Marte, Stewart, and Daric Barton are the safest picks. Fielder should be fine too, but I usually downgrade guys a notch for playing 1b, since it's so easy to get good production later at that position.

And safety concerns aside (I agree with them all, BTW), Hernandez should be simply amazing!

Young, Felix, Fielder, Stewart, Marte, Barton are my top 6.

Marte had a really nice spring, and had a big day today (3-7 2 HR 2BB in a doubleheader), I'm hoping that Jordan/Mondesi doesn't work out so they can throw him in the OF. :-D
