Who will be the most consistenly good this year? Is Blalock for real? Will the Royals team play keep Randa hot? Etc..

I'm trying to choose between the three. Gimme some advice.

My offense:
C - Pudge
1B - Durazo
2B - Castillo
SS- Vizquel
3B - Blalock (Randa against LHP)
OF - Sheffield, V. Wells, Ibanez
Util - C. Everett
Bench - Randa, A. Huff

Blalock is for real. I'd put them in order as Blalock, Randa, Crede for this year.
The odds of the AL MVP coming from the American League are looking pretty good.

I agree. Blalock first. After that, Randa can be counted on for 15 HR, 80 RBI. Crede has a larger upside than Randa (Crede could go 20-25 HR, 80-90 RBI) but also more risky.
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

I think Blalock is playing over his head just a bit. Yes, he is a great hitter and is going to do well. But he will hit the wall sometime this year so I'd go Randa, Blalock, Crede. Randa, while not splashy, will be more consistent in the long haul.
