NL-only 4x4 from last year: 23 players active, 17 player bench. What was interesting about this league is that prior to the season, 2 of the 12 teams drafted for 2005 so they chose to be near the end in the cumulative standings, and so a lot of rookies were drafted with salaries that weren't expected to contribute.
So, in a one year league, the counting stats would have all shrunken at the top compared to these ranks.
