Yeah, the bullpen was prioritized. I still see a slight chance of the Giants resigning Hermanson as a set up man. That would give them a rock-solid bullpen.

The offense is slow, lacking power and unexciting to watch when Bonds is getting walked all the time, but it functions. Backing up Barry with an elite bat is just a dream.

As suggested earlier, Pierzynski could be used in a trade for an OF with a bat. He is a better catcher than people think. The GMs know his value.

The offense -- while not very exciting like savage said -- does work. I was kinda surprised that they finished the year so high, but I don't question the process if it gives you results like that. The pen should have been priority and they've gotten that taken care of. ;-D
