i've seen a guy like that on tv a couple of years ago. it caused more problems than good. he was always getting hurt badly, but could never feel it. so if he happened to break a leg he wouldn't feel pain and would aggravate the injruy. people were worried he wouldn't be able to walk again if some of these injuries got really bad

Jeez. That's something.

Why can't anyone these days have a cold like they used to have? It's always gotta be these newfangled diseases. :-b

Definitely scary. She could actually bleed to death if she injured herself and didn't realize she was bleeding. I did this once with an X-acto knife wiring a stereo together. I sliced a cut so clean I didn't feel the pain at first and wondered where the liquid in my hands was suddenly coming from.
