Greatest Fan Base?

There is no question, its BOSTON without a doubt. They are the most passionate, knowledgeable, cazy people in the wolrd. Other teams have fans but for boston the red sox are a way of life, its what these people do all year long. This may be IMO, but i want some one to prove me wrong.

Also the red sox have the most out-of-state fans. There are sox fans in any stadium when they are traveling.

It's hard to refute an opinion chief.

Please.

As a Missourian, I'm excited about the Cards being in the series. We make a trek to Busch stadium every couple of years to watch a game there. I'm on the Western part of the state so end up seeing several Royals' games each season. I am always amazed at the difference in understanding of baseball between the two stadiums. The folks in St. Louis just seem to understand baseball and appreciate good play whether it be from their own players or the opponents.

In KC, someone would have found a way to throw a beer on Jim Edmonds after his magnificent catch Thursday night. The vendors at Busch are much better than those at the K. As a kid I was fascinated with the guys walking up and down the aisles at Busch shouting "COLD BEER HERE!" AND "FROSTY MALTS, GET YOUR FROSTY MALTS!"

In all, I prefer to watch a game in St. Louis, but will watch in KC when I get a chance.

It's the pic that is doing it.

Once this thread reaches the next page it will go away. ;-)

That doesn't help if you want to read page 3. Not that I do. Once was enough but I just thought I'd share that with you. :-b
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I love this website

Be sure to check out "The TRUE Guide to the World Series"

Here's some excerpted genius:
Mike Matheny vs. Jason Varitek
Mike MAtheny is the better player. I saw Mike throw out a guy from the other team at Busch this one time when the guy had a huge lead. He was like halfway to second by the time the pitcher threw the ball but Mike got him. When he saw it was Mike behind the plate he fell down on the way to second and was out by a mile. That's what Mike Matheny will do to you. Other teams are afraid fo him and they don't play well when he is catching. And if Varitek tries anything with him like he did with A Rod, Mike will knock him out. You can count on that. Advatange: CARDINALS!

Though this guy does have a point about Damon throwing like a girl... !+)

1. Cubs
2. Blank - because no one is close
3. Cardinals
4. Yankees
5. San Francisco
