I have the same rule for the rotisserie league that I commish. I love it. You really have to use some sense rather than pick up every flash in the pan and hope a couple sticks.

Judging by your roster, I'm guessing HLDs are in there as a CAT.. but If this were my team, I would drop Garcia, Speier, Perez and probably Morneau as well, and use their roster spots for floating bats for off days/ Dbl headers or for adding for spec. stats.. IE down on SB's (not likely w/ your roster) just saying!!

Exactly! It also puts a huge emphasis on the draft. I told my friend draft preparation is not buying a fantasy baseball mag the night before the draft! :-D

I hate that. I hate it when people overrate the draft as a means to a wine and tilt the rules to favor that. The draft is important, and most important. But you shouldn't be so stifled in that you can't trade or make pickups as you see fit. having games played and innings pitched limits are the way to go -- that way there is a real cost to doing it.

but cahsing "every flash in the pan" makes for a good league IMO. it means many of the people ar epaying attention.
