Sorry Lo, I thought you meant that it didn't matter if the Yanks beat the Jays, I didn't realize that when you said Jays you just meant "any team without a hope in hell of making the playoffs" - my bad :-D .

Needed to rant. Got it out now. I'll be fine for a while now.

Not that there is anything to back this up, but right after the trade I heard White Sox GM Kenny Williams talk about Loaiza coming out of the Yankees bullpen, meaning he may have talked to Cashman about this before the trade.

Loaiza still has a good cutter, and that is something which could be very valuable in the playoffs out of the bullpen.
