Hey ensanimal, lets start a poll on who thinks who will get bumped onced this experiment is over.

I'd go with either Loaiza or Lieber but Lieber has been solid as of late.... :-?

It's a pretty good idea too since it will give an extra day of rest to all those old farts. It's not like they have a true ace anyway.

I just checked Jackal's Loaiza Watch - I vote Estaban.

Just curious, how do you think they would justify making the trade if/when Loaiza ends up in the bullpen? I would think that they didn't trade for Loiaza for him to be a relief guy but then again, I'm sure they never saw El Duque pitching as well as he has either.

If Loazia deserves to be in the bullpen that's where he'll be. The Yankees don't play games. They won't refrain from making a roster move to "justify trading for him." This franchise is about winning, not screwing around.

Agreed. They made the trade as addition by subtraction. They don't care if Conteras beats the Jays. They need him to beat the Sox and he couldn't. At least as a Yankee. :-/

What a statement. Geez, this speaks volumes. The big market teams don't even care if they beat us or not.

Even I care more about the Yanks and Sox rotations than I do about my own team's - and I hate the Yanks and Sox!

This has to stop. Profit sharing, hard salary cap, luxury tax, 2 tier league, I don't care. I want my Jays to play a meaningful game in the next 10 years. Until this happens I want the Jays pitchers to bean every single Yankee and BoSox hitter that they see.

Mookie.......You know that I was just using the Jays as an example, right?? I meant that they need a pitcher to win games in October and not May or June. :-?
