Did I say you wasted my time? I missed that in my post.

Your topic was on the first page and unread by myself. I go through most of my unread topics and post to the ones I feel like.

Isaac Newton. Isn't that the sexiest picture ever of a dead mathematician?

It should be a prerequisite for fantasy baseball players to not pick their team based on who has the sexiest picture.

:-P

I am sick.

That is hilarious. delux_247, don't take is personally. I was a little stumped at INF too, but you don't have to get all worked up about it. Don't worry, the computer takes care of everything, so we don't have to do the accounting of every player. So relax and enjoy the cafe for it's other uses B-)

Ok, let's cool the flaming guys.

It's a basic question that new fantasy players run into every year, so let's cut some slack here.

To answer the question, INF stands for Infinity. He gave up 2 er and got zero outs, so an accurate era cannot be determined. The runs along with the hits/walks has already been calculated into your opponent's era/whip for the week.

For example (hypothetical of course):

Maddux----9 innings, 9 hits, 1 er.
Hermanson--0 innings, 2 hits, 2 er.

Team total would be: Era=3.00, Whip=1.222

Hope that helps. :-)

The comment about the 5th grade education wasn't exactly nice and wasn't necessary. They don't teach fantasy baseball in school. ;-)

I just didn't want the thread to get any worse over a simple question by a new player to the game. B-)
