The worry with any of Dusty's starters always has to be overuse injuries. Not saying that's the case just to be on the lookout. I didn't see his last start but he looked to have good stuff in the infamous game vs STL about a week n a half ago, that is until his temper appeared to do him in :-/

He should do pretty good against the Brewers anemic offense. Hes just in a little slump, you didnt expect him to be that good the whole year did you?

well I didn't expect to stay as good as he was doing early on but lately it's looked pretty average (4+ runs in 4 of his last 5 starts).

I guess the question is how do you guys think he will do the rest of the way.

Also, is he more valuable, less valuable or basically the same as Roy Oswalt?

things to consider are walks, whip, k/9...

Less valuable than Oswalt IMO.

if healthy, i'd go with oswalt because he is an amazing second-half pitcher. i think both zambrano and oswalt have question marks tho. with oswalt, it is obviously injuries. with zambrano, he may simply fatigue a bit..... also the guy may emotionally crack under the pressure of a playoff race (see zambrano v. edmonds).

Id definitely go with Oswalt. Zambrano has been overused this year. Remember he is still quite young
