LOL @ MANNY

I didn't see any mention of his "play" last night. That is 1 of the funniest things that I have seen in a long time. For those who don't know, I am talking about him diving to cut off Damon's throw on Newhan's inside-the-park HR. If he let it go, they probably get him at the plate.

Good stuff. :-b

He's one of the best hitters in the game, and one of my favorite players, but he is as dumb as a brick in the field. I was laughing so hard when I saw the replay on Baseball tonight.

What the hell was he thinking.

Just as well he hits the ball like a freak because he really doesn't have any clue for the game.

I agree. He is a great hitter. It was just really funny seeing him dive for that ball since he never dives for anything in the field. :-? :-)

Manny has always been one of my favorites as well

anyone rember him jumping at the wall for a ball vs the Yankees and it landing about 10 feet behind him

horrible man

It always surprises me the lack of fundamentals in so many players. How do you make your living, and a very lucrative living, playing a game and not know the ins & outs?

Look no further than your sig, mooch: how about Shaq's free throws? For somebody who would seriously win a lot of games with only one other player on his team (hell even if it was only JR Bremer or something) if he could shoot 75% from the line, he's horrible. There MUST be a way to get him to shoot above 55%. He gets $28M a season and they can't teach him to shoot a ball?!?!?!?!?
