Morneau vs Wright vs Upton - This Year

What are your projections for each this year?

And assuming all 3 will be up in the bigs by mid August... Who would you most want on your team for the final 5-6 weeks of the season? Position scarity, needs and whatever else does not matter. Just think pure stats for like a 5x5 league.

Personally, I like Morneau, I think he's the most polished hitter of those three.

I picked up Monreau when he was called up last week, and for this week he already hit 2 hr.

Well Morneau and Wright are already up, so I'm going to say they will have a better finish to the year. They have more experience (minor league/ age wise) and will have more playing time.

Out of those 2 I have to go with Morneau cause he has been Major League ready for a while now and has great power. Wright should be quite good but no ones knows how he will do since this is his first time being in the bigs.

This year, Morneau. He has greater offensive upside. Wright not only has a good bat, but he is good defensively.

However, long term out of those three. Upton! He is eventually going to be an annual first round pick in Fantasy Leagues.

I'd go with Upton myself for 5X5. Lou has already said he will let him run the bases when he gets called up. He has decent power as well as the others also. The stolen bases tip it to Upton's favor IMHO.

Why isn't Morneau available yet on Yahoo. Honestly, this is annoying.

Morneau's available on Yahoo...

Pure stats?
Morneau
Upton
Wright

Long term, Upton's the best bat, but Morneau's been ready for a while. BJ's good for SBs...

Moneau
Wright
Upton

Although I would not want any of them expect maybe Morneau on my team in a single season league. If you need help at those positions you would be far wiser to go with an Infante or Hinske off the waiver wire.
