Prepares to get flamed...)

Dont worry I wont flame you, just give you a minor burn.

The competition may have been slim, but the Yankees earned the title of champion by being the best team. 50 years from now some may say the competititon today is slim, does that discount all of the teams that have won in our present time?

Hate the Yankees,

Ya know this is pretty cool seeing that none of the Cubs fans really said that they hated the Cards abd vice versa. I think those two cities really have alot of respect for eachother. even though they show alot of hate during the season. In the past it seems like they hate eachother just when they play against eachother, but in the post season, at least in my experience, if the Cubs are in and the Cards are out, I usually root for the Cubs. However I do say that there are always alot of Cubs player I hate, especially after the past few days.

What a great rivalry its a shame MLB screwed up their schedule this year.

The Cubs and the Cardinals don't play each other for the rest of the season and the Tigers have yet to play the White Sox.

MLB scheduling is awful.

Yeah I second that. I respect most Cubs fans, but thats cause most are good baseball fans. I used to respect the Cubs Organization but over the last couple years they've been getting a little hotheaded when they visit Busch.

Never been to Wrigley but I hear Cubs fans are total jerks to Cardinal fans, any Cubs fans feel that way in STL? I have heard MANY horror stories about a guy getting spit on when it was just him and his kid, and people getting beers thrown at them. I am sure it has happened but I have never seen it in STL, thats why I was wondering.

Although I root for the Cubs when the Cards are done, it is 100 percent the organization. I always hate Cubs players, and have never had a good experince with a Cubs fan, though I am sure those are just the ones that stick out. Weird I know.

I love them all, especially the ones my fantasy guys play on.

I've always had a soft spot for the Cardinals, Cubs and the Braves in the NL and the Oakland A's and Indians in the AL.

Probably has something to do with them all choking down in the post season over the past few years.
