I think this question is very difficult to answer because you can look at it 2 ways:
1) In 2002, he was a much better player in the first half than he was in the second, so one could hypothesize that he is a first-half player.
2) He is now just 1 year removed from a serious injury that normally takes 1 year to recover from, so he is also probably getting fully healthy and more comfortable in the field and at the plate, so he should be better in the second half for these reasons combined with the fact that he was so good when healthy last year, which is the other hypothesis.
It's really anyone's guess. My guess would be that he'll perform a little better than the first half of this year though.
