Chris Rock would be my #1 choice. ;-D

I like almost all stand up comedians :-) . Not a fan of Dice Clay though. :-P

Of course guys like Seinfeld and Rock are great, but I really like Lewis Black. His segments on the Daily Show are hilarious, and his stand-up shows are great too.

For standup, I like Chris Rock, Chappelle, Eddie Murphy (good ole days), and a bunch of Canadian comics from Just for Laughs. It's funny because a lot of Americans wouldn't get the Canadianized jokes..... can't think of any names off the top of my head though. "Something" Rogers comes to mind............. and oh yeah, Russell Peters.

Seinfeld is my second favourite show next to Family Guy, but I'm just not a fan of Jerry's standup routine. Those little 20 second clips before each episode can be funny though :-D And George Carlin was probably funny in his day, but nowadays he's outmatched since there's so much competition. I can understand if he was the only controversial comedian like he was in the 70's or whatever, but you need more than taht now to keep up with the big boys........ no offense to him though. That would be like saying Babe Ruth was a bad hitter because he had a bunch of horrible players in his era....... but maybe comparing Carlin to Ruth is going a bit far..... OK Jimmie Foxx...... yeah that's better !+)
