How Good is Chad Cordero

Postby d18Mike » Sun Jun 13, 2004 1:07 pm

Got lucky and picked up Chad Cordero up the week before he was annointed. As a result I have s surplus of CLers, and it is a cateory that I was already dominating in. I have Affledt as well and plan to trade one ... which one of these guys is a) better b) more likely to hold his job for the rest of the year c) has higher trade value?

Projections for Cordero, please?

a) Cordero (higher risk/reward)
b) Affeldt (no one behind him, really)
c) Affeldt (has converted more saves already)

Don't have projections, a lot of it is up in the air still IMO. Franky has hinted at Vargas being the closer for Montreal even though Cordero has it now. He basically has no faith in his relievers...why else would he keep Hernandez in for 133 pitches against Seattle? I don't know, I picked up both Vargas and Cordero and am waiting who will lock it down. Right now it's Cordero, but who knows? Sorry if that just confuses more than anything!!! Good luck with it.
