i drafted him in a yearly re-draft, thinking he'd lock up the 5th starter job and just wail. not only did he not keep the job, he was sent down, and since then, was been very, well... :-/ numbers are posted below. not very exciting. i'm sure you don't want to drop him in keeper leagues, but it appears his impact will not be felt this year.

ERA: 4.75
G: 8

I took him with the second pick in my keeper league minor-league draft and I have been very disappointed.

I am so happy that Alvarez has pitched well and they do not need to rush Edwin up to the Bigs. He needs a full year in the minors and a lot of coaching - his control seems to be ok but he is very hittable and has lot his "stuff" that he had last year. Lets hope that he finds it again but he is no way worth keeping on the bench in a yearly league.

Jackson's actually pitched better as of late. He was terrible early on.

If you were going to release him, it probably shoulda been early on. He's probably still safe to cut in a 1-year league.

He's safe to cut in one year leagues...

.. but in Keepers, remember... he's 20 years old and pitching in AAA. That's not all that bad. He still has 3/4 of a season to turn it around.

Like some others said, His last 3 games have been very promising. He got off to a rough start, but then again he is only 20 and in triple a...which is rare in it's self. In keepers i would hold onto him, but non-keepers i can see people dropping him.
