The game with the most innings in Major League history was a 1920 game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Boston Braves, but that ended in a 1-1 tie. It went 26 innings.

In May 9th 1984, the White Sox and Brewers played 25 innings. It was ended by a home run by Harold Baines.
