whats wrong with helton?

is helton gonna have an off year? am i gonna have to work out a trade deal to get rid of him for somebody else? what do the people of baseball cafe think? his lack of production so far is annoying me.

No protection around him. He'll be good for his regular average, but I'd expect a light drop in R and RBI.

But looking at his stats...they are great...6 homers, 17 RBI, 28 runs...what's wrong? Could use a tad bit more RBIs, but that's it. His Rs and RBIs will be down a tad bit, though.

Above posters are on the mark. Helton is fine. Just lacking protection right now. If Walker and Preston make strong comebacks, Helton's stock will soar.

Yep, once P-Dub gets back in the lineup, Colorado as a whole will look a lot scarier. Vinny Castilla doesn't strike the same fear into you as Preston Wilson. No offense to Vinny, he's solid, but more appropriate for the bottom of the order.
