well he hasn't been awful or even bad or anything, but mister oswalt has been a decent disappointment in this early season. he seems like he gets too comfortable with a lead and gives it up/back after houston scores some runs.

tonight houston got a run in the 2nd or third, and then in the next frame atlanta got one right back. biggio just homered so we'll see if he can hold one... i figured the big O would be a solid shot at 20, however 15 is looking like a pretty good season at this point.

i mean, this guy is the winningest pitcher %wise in MLB since his debut, so you kind of figured that he'd be up near the top of hte heap, however, i'm not quite sure of that status right now.

thank god for contingency plans like carlos zambrano and josh beckett, eh? =D

wow, someone is a little too anxious here. I am very pleased with his numbers so far.
IP, W, K, ERA, WHIP
42.1 2 32 2.76 1.11

Not bad for a 4-5th round pick.

Oswalt has been pretty damn good this year if you ask me. Personally I'd be very angry if he topped out at 15 wins and I doubt he will. I projected him as my NL Cy Young winner before the season, slotting in about 20-21 victories for the Oz man.

looks like he has regained his composure. 6 straight outs. 1-2-3 3rd with 2 k's. ;-D

Meh.

Any pitcher could deal with Jesse Garcia, Mark DeRosa, Horacio Ramirez, Wilson Betemit and Adam LaRoche.

If he gets through Chipper, JD and Druw I'll give him his props.

Want to talk about lack of run support and overall terrible luck? Look at the pitcher starting opposite of Oswalt today.

Yea, I'd put it this way. Yankees, cardinals, and then THE ASTROS. ;-D
