I'm in an 8 team NL league and my team has very deep pitching. We count holds, K/9, and Ks in addition to the normal stuff. My team:

C - M. Piazza
1B - P. Nevin
2B - J. Spivey
SS - O. Cabrera
3B - S. Burroughs
OF - D. Roberts
OF - A. Jones
OF - C. Patterson
DH - P. Nevin
Bench - J. Encarnacion
DL - L. Walker

SP - K. Wood
SP - R. Johnson
SP - W. Miller
SP - C. Pavano
SP - O. Perez (LA)
RP - J. Smoltz
RP - A. Otsuka
RP - R. Madson
RP - B. Lidge
RP - D. Kolb
Bench - K. Mercker, O. Perez (Pit), J. Riedling, D. Dreifort.

Dreifort and Reidling count as SPs so I've been keeping them in there and rotating in the rest on their days. Everybody in the league is a nerd so we all do it.

My question is, although Pavano is pitching terrific, his Ks are consistently low (but don't tell Phil Nevin) and my hitting needs a bit more pop. I traded Kent for Randy Johnson earlier which compromised me a bit. I figure I could grab A.J. Burnett and DL him now and he'd probably put up comparable numbers to Pavano once he's back.

Should I try:
Cabrera and Pavano for Renteria? Furcal? Pavano and who on my team (OFs, expendable hold-getters) for a considerable upgrade at that position? Remember I'm already winning in steals every week because of Roberts (knock on wood).

I think Pavano, Burroughs, Encarnacion and Mercker for Lowell. Is that nutty?
