My team just CANNOT BUY A WIN.

Beckett...tonight
Od. Perez...faced Beckett
Morris...gem against CHC
Santana...Minnesota couldn't do anything against Lackey
The Yankees better slam Mulder tonight to give Contreras a win

I do have Armando, though. He seems to be slowing down. He ain't blowing much stuff past guys like he did earlier this year.

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

I could see that coming a mile away.

I've now started Beckett in 5 games (didn't go at Coors) for one measly WIN. And all that with a sub 3.00 ERA and miniscule WHIP.

LoDuca tapped it near the mound. Benitez fielded it barehand and hurried the throw...throw wide and high. Choi couldn't get it...Easley bobbled the ball trying to field it and LoDuca got to 2nd.
