(Sports Network) - The Chicago White Sox complete their brief two-game series against the Cleveland Indians tonight at U.S. Cellular Field.
The Tribe picked up an extra-inning victory on Tuesday evening. Casey Blake snapped a tie with an RBI double in the 10th inning to lead Cleveland to an 11-7 win over Chicago.
Juan Uribe and Joe Crede each registered three hits for the White Sox, who lost for the second time in three games. Magglio Ordonez, Frank Thomas, Carlos Lee and Paul Konerko all homered.
Tonight, the White Sox will hand the ball to veteran lefthander Scott Schoeneweis, who will try to continue his strong start to the season. Schoeneweis has won his last two starts and is 2-1 with a 2.79 ERA in three starts this year.
Schoeneweis made his last appearance in Thursday's 4-3 win over the New York Yankees. The 30-year-old yielded three runs and four hits in 6 2/3 innings, while striking out one and walking three.
Schoeneweis is 2-3 with a 5.40 ERA in four career starts and four relief appearances against Cleveland.
This is the first series of the season between these teams. Last year, the White Sox went 11-8 against the Tribe and won seven of nine contests in Chicago.
