Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians traded minor league outfielder Trey Dyson to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday for relief pitcher Rick White.

White, who should be joining the Indians in Chicago on Tuesday, spent last season with the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros, finishing 1-2 with one save and a 5.78 ERA in 49 appearances.

He has pitched in six games for the Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate in Las Vegas this season, without being scored upon in 11 2/3 innings.

White is 28-40 with 12 saves in eight major league seasons. The Indians will send pitcher Jason Anderson to Triple-A Buffalo to make room on the roster for White.

Dyson had one homer, five RBI and a .179 batting average with Single-A Kinston.
