Macdougal is back

I picked him up and I am pretty new at this. Do any of you pros think he will be decent. I read he was activated today and yahoo also has him off the DL. Give me some opinions if you would. I am in a league that heavily favors relief pitching.

Depends which MacDougal shows up. The one that pitched well enough in the first half to be an All Star would be terrific. The one who showed up after the All Star break should have been in Omaha. He'll get his chance, that's for sure. But beyond that, who knows? My gut feeling is that he's going to struggle, but this is a tough guy to read.

If your league heavily favors RPs then I would definitely take the chance on him. I would probably bench him for a few appearances at first.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
