JD Drew, jettison him now?!?

I drafted JD late as a sleeper in my draft but he is playing terrible on top of the hamstring injury. Going into Friday night he's hitting .185...Should I drop him or let this play its course? I have an open DL so I put in a waiver for Preston Wilson, put him on my DL spot and then pick up Jake Peavy as an extra SP?

Depends on the geography of your team, but I think I'd keep Drew. Why not? He's got the talent and he's got a couple of solid hitters at the top of that lineup in Giles and Furcal that could help him get a bunch of RBI. Then again, if you don't think anyone will pick him up, ditching him and keeping an eye on him in case he does break out could be a safe play, especially if you could use another pitcher.
