16 Team Dynasty League Seeks Replacement Owner: $150

WE are entering our 5th year together as a league, we need a replacement owner. We use LeagueSafe as our Treasurer. I have listed the roster, point system, and constitution below. If you are interested, email fantasycommish23@gmail.com

Constitution:

MLB Draft:
All MLB teams have until July 15th to sign draft picks from the MLB Draft (June 9th-11th). Beginning on July 18th we will have a draft conducted on the league’s website for all draft picks that were signed to a MLB contract. If a draft pick didn’t sign a contract, they aren’t eligible for the draft. The draft will NOT be a snake draft. Round #1 will be 1-16, Round 2 will be 1-16. Your draft order will be based on your waiver order that is in place for the July 20th-26th waiver period. If you have the #1 waiver pick that week, you will have the #1 draft pick. Each team will have 12 hours to make a selection. If no pick is made after 12 hours, then the commissioner will inform the next team that they are on the clock. Once a selection is made by a team, the next team can make their pick at any time during their 12 hour window. The draft will end once every team “Passes” their turn. The waiver order/draft order will be finalized on Monday July 18th. Trades, involving a draft pick, may be made at anytime during the season prior to the draft.

Lineups:

You must field a legal lineup(no minor leaguers or injured players are allowed). If a player is demoted or placed on the DL after the scoring week starts, there is no penalty. It is the owner's responsibility to keep the competitive integrity of each week as a priority, and to use the upcoming add/drop period to fix their lineup prior to the upcoming lineup start date.
If you have an illegal lineup, no transactions are allowed unless they are to fix your lineup. The first week of the season, we are lenient with lineups as MLB teams make their own adjustments. Beginning week 2, if you have an illegal lineup, the first offense is that you drop down the waiver order one spot for one month. If it is illegal a second time (after the first offense), then you drop down to last for the remainder of the season & off-season.

DL SLOTS. Each team will have 5 DL slots to use for injured players. This is done to minimize the possible impact that injuries will have on your ability to field a legal roster and remain competitive. The only rule is that you MAY NOT pick up a player from waivers that is on the DL to "stash" away on your roster. If a player is a FA and on the DL, they are not eligible to pick up and place on your DL.

TRANSACTIONS

Free Agent Acquisitions

Waiver Adds: There are NO LIMITS to the number of players you can pick up each week during waiver selections. Waivers still run Sunday and Wednesday night. Reminder, if your roster is illegal your waiver claim(s) must be used to fix your lineup. A free agent is considered any player not currently on a roster in your league. You may add as many free agents to your team during a waiver run. Remember that your roster cannot exceed 31 active players, so if you wish to acquire a free agent, you must first waive a player. The number of names you may submit depends on your current league ranking. (Last place teams need only submit one pick as they have first choice. First-place teams in a 16-team league may submit up to 16 picks as the first 15 may have been chosen by lower-ranked teams.)

If all of your free agent requests are taken, you will retain the player whom you were going to waive. You do not have to put the free agent acquisition in your lineup. If you choose, you may stick him on your bench.

Free agent requests may be submitted anytime and are due no later than 12 midnight on Wednesday and Sunday of each week and ending in the final week of the season during the regular season. No waiver picks are allowed during the playoffs. Anytime you submit a waiver claim, your roster must be legal and your add/drop must maintain the legal status of your roster.

The order of selection in the weekly free agent process in off-season is determined by the final standings of the week.

Trades

Trades can be vetoed by 8 owners voting no on a trade. If your trade is vetoed, it can only be resubmitted if something was changed in the trade. Once a trade is posted for a league vote, it will be posted for a maximum of 48 hours. After 48 hours, if less than 8 NO votes are submitted, it will be processed. Trades may be processed sooner than 48 hours if enough YES votes are submitted.

You do not have to trade player-for-player or position-for-position. (You may trade any player for any player, as long as your active roster doesn't exceed 31.) You may also make unbalanced trades (2-for-1 or 3-for-2). If you receive more players than you trade, you must waive a player from your roster. (You may give up more players than you receive.) You may have less than 31 on your roster but never more, and you must always have 18 men in your starting lineup. Once a trade has been agreed upon by two teams, it may not be cancelled! The only way the trade doesn't happen is if it vetoed by the league.

No collusion of any type will be tolerated and offenders will have their team revoked without return of payment.) You may not "reacquire" a player during the season or during the off-season until 5 weeks have cleared (on the 6th week, you may reacquire that player.)

The trading period ends on week 18.

There is an off-season Free Agent and Trading period. This will start in January or February and go throughout the season.

Roster Adjustments

Each week you will be able to reserve players from your active roster and activate players off your reserve squad. Player transactions must be submitted online 30 min before game time on Monday.

It is the responsibility of the franchise owner to make roster moves. If you do not submit an updated roster each week, you will automatically start the roster from the previous week. It’s the responsibility of the owner to start the best team possible. If a team is inactive for more than a week, and the owner fails to communicate with the commish (within 60 hours of the initial contact from the commish) as to what they are doing with their team, the team may go for sale and run by the commish until the team is sold.

PLAYOFFS:

A total of 8 teams will make the playoffs. Division winners and next best six teams, regardless of division. Schedule for playoffs are as follow, 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5 then semis, then finals.

(Team who scores the highest points during weeks 1-21)

1st Place = $600
2nd Place = $300
3rd Place = $225
4th Place = $150

****UNLESS YOU ARE NOT RETURNING for the next season, your fees for next season WILL BE deducted from any winnings earned. ****

We reserve the right to eject any owner(s) for non-payment, behavior deemed
detrimental to the league, or for not being an active owner. If an owner does not reply to other owner's correspondence consistently (please inform the commish) and goes over a week with correspondence with the commish they are subject to league removal. If an owner is ejected from the league, franchise fees will not be returned. All Payments must be made in before the draft. Teams in default will be sold in the off-season and ran by the commish during the year. We will also post the team for sale during the season.
