Ready to win a title?

Postby Cali Redneck » Thu Jul 02, 2015 5:59 pm

I play in a 10 team yahoo points league with three keepers. Every team gets an NA slot that can be used to stash a prospect.

My team has been hot lately. In just a couple weeks I've rocketed up the standings from 8th place to 4th, and that was before a couple big trades that helped my roster even more. With the first half coming to a close, are more moves still needed?

You look in great shape, while Yelich is starting to come around, I would want to upgrade Granderson or Hamilton. With Pence and his injury situation he would be the guy to sure that spot up, but not sure with his wrist right now. Any worthy names on the waiver wire for OF?

I've been keeping my eye out for OF upgrades. Right now on waivers though, there's not really anyone who's any better than Granderson. When Pence comes back, I'll probably move him to my bench anyway. You could do a lot worse for a 6th OF i think.

I like everything except Hamilton. Injuries have forced your hand...if you can stay in the hunt for the next 4 weeks you'll get Harrison and Rendon back and can move Hamilton to the bench, Rendon to your MI/CI spot and Pence to OF and be all set.

I've made a few upgrades and a trade, and my team is finally pretty much at full health. Also, another team in my league dropped DJ LeMahieu for some reason today. I put in a claim to drop Devon Travis for him that I'll hopefully get. I'm in 5th now, but only a point back from 4th. Me and another team have been trading places every other day since I made my original post. What do you guys think now?

I'd say strengthen the OF and be very active on the FA front
