I am in a 10-man 5x5 league and my team is pretty balanced overall, and I thought I'd be a lot better than where I am at right now and i want to switch things up, but i am not sure what the best strategy is for these types of leagues so i thought I'd run it by here and look for any suggestions on what the most strategic way to win was. I am aware of some strategies (steals/pitching, hitting/saves) but i don't know what the best one would be for my team, so hope to get some feedback! Thanks!

Here's my team:

C: Russell Martin
1B: Anthony Rizzo
2B: Howie Kendrick
3B: Josh Donaldson
SS: Jhonny Peralta
2B/SS: Delino Deshields
1B/3B: Eric Hosmer
OF: Adam Jones, Starling Marte, Carlos Gomez, Christian Yelich, Yasmani Tomas
UTIL: Carlos Santana
SP: Johnny Cueto, Matt Harvey, Carlos Carrasco, James Paxton, Scott Kazmir, Julio Teheran, Nathan Karns (spot start today), Carlos Martinez
RP: A.J. Ramos, David Robertson, Mark Melancon
Bench: Josh Harrison
DL: Wil Myers

1st you have to establish where you can make up the most points the quickest and where you have no chance of making any significant progress then you can plan a course of action.

Yes i agree, I might try and go in the direction of power/SB with a couple of ace pitchers and closers since it's categories, but i am unsure if this will be the right strategy to last me all year long, any other advice?

Tell me where do you suck and is there any chance of gaining position there.

Well i lead my league in every hitting category except for SB's, and as far as pitching I've been struggling in ERA, WHIP, and Wins the past couple weeks. Maybe i am just panicking because I'm on a 2 game losing streak, but i feel like i want to get rid of Cueto for a better starter, maybe Bumgarner or Sale, but for that to happen id have to downgrade hitting, so maybe I'm best staying put.

I wouldn't sweat it right now your team looks fine maybe you'll loose SBs every week but there are 9 other cats.
