Tomorrow marks the day when some players, inexplicably, stop sucking and start playing well (really they've probably been playing well for a week to ten days, but we only notice the monthly separations, and attribute it to that. Who do you hope turns the page on the month, and turns over a new leaf for the 2015 season???

For me, it's Jason Heyward. Hoping that moving to the 6-hole from the 2-hole helps change his approach at the plate and start producing more. Also Drew Pomeranz. 'Bruh'.

Today's Match Ups: (blah blah blah blah Red)

AL

LA Angels of Anaheim at Oakland Athletics, 3:35 pm
(R) Garrett Richards (1-1) vs. (R) Jesse Chavez (0-1)

Toronto Blue Jays at Cleveland Indians, 7:10 pm
(L) Daniel Norris (1-1) vs. (L) T.J. House (0-3)

Chicago White Sox at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 pm
(L) Chris Sale (2-0) vs. (R) Trevor May (1-1)

Detroit Tigers at Kansas City Royals, 8:10 pm
(R) Alfredo Simon (4-0) vs. (L) Danny Duffy (1-0)

Seattle Mariners at Houston Astros, 8:10 pm
(L) James Paxton (0-2) vs. (R) Scott Feldman (2-2)

NL

Philadelphia Phillies at St. Louis Cardinals, 1:45 pm
(R) David Buchanan (0-4) vs. (L) Tim Cooney (0-0)

Cincinnati Reds at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 pm
(R) Mike Leake (0-1) vs. (R) Shelby Miller (3-0)

Strasburg $32 & CarGo $23 are puking all over the place on my NL Only team and it would be nice to see Kenley $17 active.

My prediction for the day isn't one for the day - it's for May!

Both Jason Heyward and my prediction skills have been waiting for April showers to end and May flowers to bloom. I'm closing out May at a 4-11-4 record on my predictions and unlike Heyward who still had to go out and suck today I'm going to take the day off and wait for May! :)

0-for-4 with a K has been pretty par for the course.

Atleast Matheny wised up and moved him down in the lineup, I am loving Marp in the 2 hole. Cardinals have been pounding the ball since he was moved there (Granted it is against the Phillies though)

I'm getting dangerously close to cutting bait. I'll alert everyone when I do, so they can immediately get him into their lineups.

There's the Alfredo Simon we all know and love, albeit against a red hot Royals team that's hitting everything. Still, glad I was able to move him today. Even if he did this another month I'd never feel comfortable starting him.

I don't know about your leagues, but Matt Carpenter is always way undervalued in both of my leagues. year-after-year I manage to get him as a mid-late rd pick on plug him in at 2B or 3B, and it is wonderful. This year, thus far, has been especially joyous.
