Bringing my 1-6-2 record on predictions to the bump for a short slate, here's my fearless prediction for the day:

The top of the Mets revamped Wright-less top of the order (1-4 hitters) shells Jarred Cosart today, chasing him in 5.1ip or less and combining for a .500+ obp. Would have posted a hit/bb count instead but if they shell him badly enough they might not get enough ab's to get there.

Oh, and since it's a required reminder with Jarred Cosart pitching, you should definitely bet on this! ;)

I look at my team and don't see a ton of underperformers, yet I lost Week 1, and barring some major miracle, am going to lose Week 2. Maddening.

I almost started him in Fanduel today but got talked out of it by a combination of the current Brewer's numbers against him (.390/.405/.516 in 80+ ab's) and Archie Bradley's $5k price tag on Fanduel. Tough to argue against a high risk/high reward starting pitcher against that offense (.644 team ops on the year) at minimum SP price. Not sure if Bradley can do enough to make up for missing out on Lackey's 15 points and counting. :(

Oh, and Bradley was the obvious play too. I thought most people would ignore him but he's 30% owned versus Lackey's 9% which was actually part of the appeal to grabbing Bradley. :P

If Reyes misses time who leads off in TOR? Pompey? Pillar? Travis? Potential real nice temporary boost in value.
