i learned my lesson..i will be careful to not always go with the cafe consensus

Clement had 1 bad start so far. Even if Pods hits .290 40 steals 80+ runs its a fairly even trade, unless Clement falls off the face of the earth. Not a bad trade at all.

I got Clement in the 10th round of a twelve team league and Pods in the 19th. I didnt want Pods, I just couldnt let him stay out there that much longer. If I didnt have them both, I still wouldnt give away my Clement for Pods.

Podsednik won't bat lower than .280...and another season over .300 is a pretty conservative estimate. In case you haven't noticed, its really not that hard to bat .300 in the majors. Lots of mediocre players flirt with .300 yearly. OBP is what separates the straights from the gays. Podsednik is a fine starter on anyone's team in 5x5 leagues.

yea maybe im just tripping cuz my bats havent produced. i had ichiro so i thought giving up pods wasnt a big deal as ichiro can get me the steals and runs. i underestimated pods tho although its week 2, hes racking up some bigtime stats. at least my trade doesnt seem so bad cuz clement was taken before pods..

I think Pods is a great player. He doesn't have power but he sure knows how to run. on a 5x5 league, he is definitely a starter for everyone who probably has him. Yea, I also like to have guys like Beltran, soriano who will give me both power and speed, but are they always on your team? no. For what it's worth as of pods in the rounds, I'm definitely happy with him. And all of you just watch him hit .300 and steal 50.

I thought it might have been a fluke (and J Lopez as well) and am regretting it now.
