As you see, I have open bench. And I could still drop Rizzo for another OF below.

Pedrioa is slot in UT for now but he'sis up against some tough pitching all week.

Should I consider picking up Gennett or Wong and slot in UT? Or just drop Pedroia since that would add three 2B guys...

Funny thing is, I could not find Pedroia ranked high this week among 2B man. And I currently have him slot in UT. I could easily slot Gennett.

Gennett 2B Mil has nice schedule MIA4, CIN3.

He's batting .319 with an .841 OPS against righties. And his matchups are against Brad Penny, Tom Koehler, Jarred Cosart, Nathan Eovaldi and Dylan Axelrod.

Wong 2B Card has a nice schedule @CIN4, COL3.

Am also not sure if they sit Valbuena vs lefties - he has 2 this week.

Waiver
Ben Revere Phi - OF
Denard Span Was - OF
Juan Lagares NYM - OF

Kolten Wong StL - 2B
Scooter Gennett Mil - 2B

1B Todd Frazier Cin – 1B, 3B
2B Luis Valbuena ChC - 2B,3B

First off, this is a non-keeper and Melky Cabrera is out for the season. Drop him for someone asap.

Pedroia has been a waste of food for the better part of the season. Looks like he may get shut down now as he has another paper cut....err wrist\hand injury.

Span or Revere would be better options ROS at Util imo.

Ok so I can drop Pedroia and Melky. So two slots open.

1. I am concerned that Luis Valbuena ChC - 2B,3B will be sat vs lefties this week and I have no backup for him. So, I must get someone with 2B eligible. I also don't want to lose assists. So, who would you choose? And would you still roll with Alcides SS?

Neil Walker Pit - 2B @Phi, ChC (Favorable Hitting Schedule) 1
Scooter Gennett Mil - 2B Mia, Cin (Favorable Hitting Schedule) 2
Kolten Wong StL - 2B @Cin, Mil (Favorable Hitting Schedule) 3

2. I update my waiver list with who's available. Which OF?

Gregor Blanco SF - OF Ari, LAD
Ben Revere Phi - OF Pit, Mia (Favorable Hitting Schedules) 1

Can't really speak to how borderline players match up under your scoring model. You will have to look at the totals to get a feel for that. Revere has been decent but he offers little power which may hurt a lot in your model.

Walker or Gennett for 2b. You would have to check individual matchups, but 6 games against Philly and Cub pitching would make me lean towards Walker all things being equal. Also, check on the off chance that someone was crazy enough to drop Daniel Murphy when he got hurt a few weeks ago as he was activated today.

You hav enot listed anyone better for SS so stay pat there. I would not put Miller on my squad and I do not acre what he has done the past week or so. The man is barely hitting his weight.

FYI...Last report has Rizzo hoping to return this weekend though obviously until they actually activate him you have to go on the assumption that he will not be available.

Thanks
I updated my SS eligible below. Alcides has been horrible for me and only offers me good Assists

He gets me no RUNS, RBIs, HR, his AVG has sucked and I am fighting to make it to finals bext week.

On that bases, and matchups...would you consider anyone else?

Alcides Escobar KC - SS @Det, Bos

Adeiny Hechavarria Mia - SS @Mil, @Phi
Brad Miller Sea - 2B,SS Hou, Oak
Wilmer Flores NYM - 2B,3B,SS Col, Was. Mia
Josh Rutledge Col - 2B,3B,SS @NYM, @Ari

All those SSs are horrible. Basically you can pick any of them and you are just hoping to catch lighting in a bottle.

Walker (power/BA/RBI)
Revere (DEF/SB/R)

Easy decision.
