well i know enough not to let Yahoo draft for me. i dont need 4 TE's, tyvm.
i treat em the same way the nfl treats em. they are just pieces of meat. names on a paper.
i just need to figure out which names are going to kick your butt for christmas.

My NL only league has a 8 man minors and most of the managers in that league are in love with prospects so the top guys are really hard to come by. What I have been doing is loading up my minors with players that are the closest to the majors since in this league anyone that is starter is valuable. Anyone have any suggestions for middle of the road prospects that will get a chance to start next year? Or does anyone have any favorite websites that show ETA in the majors?

I take the opposite approach in a 24 team league and stock my minors with some flyers in rk and A ball. Every once in awhile you hit paydirt and get an elite prospect.

This year Lewis Thorpe (Twins) and Jen-Ho Tseng (Cubs) are looking really good as 19ish yr olds in A ball. They won't get called up any time soon but they could be top 25 prospects in the future.

Yusmiero Petit now has the major league record for most consecutive outs recorded at 46. That is all.

20 team dynasty H2H 7X7 finished 206-73-15. Now let the luck (playoffs) begin.

Fantasy Premier League is where it's at. It helps alleviate the pain of watching United lose to third division sides in meaningless cup competitions after breaking transfer records.

I started playing a fantasy premier league, h2h points format this year. Seems like a lot of fun.

As a side note, August transfers are really throwing a wrench in things. Balotelli, falcao, di Maria, etc. just randomly hitting the player pool really changes things.

I normally play in Yahoo's points standings format. Unfortunately, Yahoo's Premier League game has been buggy and difficult to use; I'll probably give the official Premier League game a try.

One thing I love about Yahoo is that you can exploit the pricing system on new players. I know for a fact that Alexis Sanchez and Diego Costa were quite cheap. Falcao is a good price at 7-8 but Balotelli and di Maria are about 11-12.
