Not from a team willing to thrown in the towel and look toward next season already. Harper would be $26 next season versus less than $10 for either Polanco or Springer. I personally would rather deal Harper and keep the kids. The clock is ticking until his next DL stint.

Happy I decided to throw him out there tonight. What a run he's been on.

Are you guys buying in? I've been watching his last 5 or 6 games and he has great stuff. His fastball has good velocity and it moves nicely and he locates it well. He has a great slider that moves a ton but he can still throw it for a strike, and he has a big slow curve that's tough to pickup when he's throwing a 92-95 fastball, 86-88 slider, and a 76-78 curve. Obviously his ERA has to come back to earth a bit, but he could be a hell of a pitcher in a relatively weak hitting division. The only problem is the Cubs suck, as usual.

Arrieta is bringing back memories of Lohse for me. A guy I thought would break out and I drafted him everywhere his first few years. Eventually I gave up and then he comes around. :-[

I don't know that I'd be trading for him, unless I was getting fair price on someone looking to sell high and buy low one one of my players who I think will continue to struggle. Otherwise, if I have him, I'm probably holding him. Cause I imagine most owners are like me and would not be willing to pay a ton for him. I do think he can continue to pitch well for the rest of the year, despite the Cubs sucking. Wins may be hard to come by.
