Thoughts, both have hit the ground running and it looks like the Tigers feel pretty comfortable with Suarez, enough to abandon trade talks with the Phillies over Rollins. What can be expected of these two, and what do their minor like numbers forecast?

According to ZiPS ROS Projections:

Santana: 264/296/351 with 10 HR/30 SB full season pace
Suarez: 241/301/352 with 12 HR/12 SB full season pace

Pretty similar, but solely going by those numbers and assuming identical playing time, I'd choose Santana. Better average, and a lot more speed.
