for the 10's of us remaining here, id like to see if anyone is interested in sharing some thoughts on the newest crop of starting pitchers. Im not talking the top ranked guys, but guys that are probably more career 3 or 4 types but with a potential to be 12 or 14 team relevant.

Guys like
Robbie Ross
Robbie Ray
Tyler Lyons
Chase Anderson
Collin McHugh

just to name a few of the most recent ones that have arrived or are arriving ..

10's of us :-b Very nice list. I'm interested to see what Anderson can do.

Love the idea. For us in deeper leagues, it's guys like this that can really help out. Hit on a few so far like Eovaldi and Chavez.

Really wish Carlos Martinez would get a shot. Stroman could be someone to look if he gets a chance.

I have a few as well but more well known that may be a FA for some:
Roenis Elias (NEEDS to cut back on walks)
Ryan Vogelsong (pitching much better but potential is limited)
Brandon McCarthy (Rough start but 1.29 era over the last 2 weeks, FA in my league)

Be patient, Alex Meyer will be up in the middle of the season.

good example but im not buying except in the deepest of leagues.

i was thinking more of the younger guys, not the 60 year old Vogelsongs of the world.

Right now ive got a minor crush on Lyons and Ray ..

I had to look it up but Vogelsong is only a few years older than me. That hurt. :-P

I talked myself out of picking up Ray for today's start. Not a killer, but the ratio help would've been nice, along with a potential win.

I like Lyons myself as well, especially this week with 2 home starts against the Cubs and Barves.

I expect Robbie Ross to be good but he has destroyed my ratios since I picked him up. ByeBye.

I have basically turned over my entire pitching staff other than Darvish/Scherzer/Lester since the draft. Wood/Skaggs/Richards/Melancon/KRod with Janssen finally making an appearance this week.
