Count me in for the Lyons thrashing. Man I was thinking he had an easy 6+ IP, 5-6Ks, and a W pretty much assured.

Whoops

And they are going to send him down and activate Garcia so us weekly roster guys won't even get two starts out of him. Maybe that's a good thing.....

TBH, I'm just glad I ended up deciding not to go to the game. I would have been very tempted to leave in the second inning after the Lake HR making it 7-0. I haven't left early in quite a few years so I would have hated to ruin my streak.

I picked him up in one league I'm in for the start against the Cubs.

I was just amazed he was left in there for so long, getting thubbed so hard. I have to think that could permanently damage his confidence. That's not how St Louis develops all it's good young pitching. (I may just be mad over the damage done to this week's ERA).

good example but im not buying except in the deepest of leagues.

i was thinking more of the younger guys, not the 60 year old Vogelsongs of the world.

Right now ive got a minor crush on Lyons and Ray ..

I ask again... Still no Dallas Keuchel love? :-D

I've had Keuchel on my roster for three games, and in those three games he's had a CGSO, he's been one out away from another CGSO, and then he went 9 IP with no ER (effectively another CGSO). 26.7 IP and only 2 ER, with 21 Ks and 1 BB. It's a QS league so I'm liking his chances of going 6+ every night, and the Atsros' terrible offense is irrelevant. It's hard not to like the guy, especially while he's doing this Cliff Lee impersonation.

That's my plan. I think he can get a #3 for the remainder of the year, potentially, based on the articles I've read about him over the last month or so.
