The problem is I drafted him pretty high.

Why do I keep doing this? :-S

Anybody buy or sell Trumbo/Abreu after their trips to Coors Field? They have both been pretty awful outside of Coors Field to start the year off... Better days should be ahead though. If Trumbo keeps this up any for much longer he will be considered a buy low for me. Owners can only take 0 for 4's so many days in a row.

I think Corey Kluber's struggles are an illusion.

This guy just has bad luck written all over him. I watched that Jays game he pitched. Guy just gives up a lot of bloop hits. But his Xfip is still impressive at roughly 3.30.

The big problems I see for him though:

a) The Indians just really seem to suck so far this year. The offense is a disgrace.
b) The White Sox and Twins don't seem to be doormats anymore. All of a sudden the Twins just seem to smash everyone. I was worried my H2H opponent had Ventura start today. I was thinking, uh oh, easy 10 strikeout shutout (still thinking back to last year). But nope, Twins took him down hard.

I'm thankful that Justin Upton's numbers look good right now on yahoo, because he was one of the main pieces in a trade I sent away to land me Miguel Cabrera.

I usually draft Justin Upton... I don't know why I do it, I think its a curse. I rank him to high every single year I guess. But I'm thinking his batting average is gonna fall in the near future. He is striking out way too much to be this good for fantasy. Even worse... after his hot streak (which was ridiculous, although short lived) he has struck out 16 times in 29 at bats with 1 HR (off Jose Valverde...who else), and 1 SB. His home stretch against the Mets and Nationals was so good that his numbers look great right now. He has always been streaky, but he is taking it to the extreme right now. Before his home stretch he struck out 10 times in 22 at bats... So outside of his 6 game hot streak he has struck out 26 times in 51 at bats. And I'll throw out that he only struck out once during the 6 game hot streak that is clearly over and who knows when it will come back... Last year he was cold for 4 straight months.

So I'll give the title of Justin Upton being a top 25 player as a big fat illusion!

Don't look now but Jason Heyward has his first 3 game hitting streak going for 2014... Let's see if he can build on that!
