I honestly almost put "I would rather have Brandon Belt this year" in my Prince Fielder paragraph.

Also I don't think anyone is suggesting not to take Bautista or EE for him. Don't think you're gonna find many people willing to buy that high though.

PS- I don't own him in any leagues.

Well that's what selling high is... I'm saying sell high on him while his value is at it's peak (which I right now). Obviously getting one of those guys would be a best case scenario, but there are plenty of guys to go after. If you truly need the power then maybe just keep Trumbo, but if you aren't gonna change your projections for a guy like Beltre or McCutchen at this point due to a slow start, then you shouldn't be changing your projections for Trumbo's hot start (who Izenhart mentioned is incredibly streaky and is known to go through periods like this). If I was a Trumbo owner then I would be thanking the fantasy baseball gods right now that Mark Trumbo got hot as he was heading into Coors Field and I would sell high and take my nice return. That's just me.

I think its too early to sell high on Trumbo anyway, he's a notorious 1st half player, if he is still mashing in June that's when I'd deal him. Right now it's just one big week. Still 25 weeks to go.

I think you'd be amazed at how much some people ride the emotions of early season hot/cold streaks. The SMART thing to do is wait until late may or early june, but not everyone is smart.

I think Bochy wants to see a bit more from Brett Pill and Aubrey Huff before he concludes that Brandon Belt is more than a part-timer.

good write up.

I agree with everything here except Trumbo. Ive had the guy every year since he was a rookie, I love em. And im here to tell you kindheartedly that you are dead wrong. Now is not the time to sell. Its late June. ;-)

A healthy Michael Morse is a good hitter IMO. That whole Giants offense is underrated. If Morse plays all year (unlikely), he might squeeze out a top 10-15 1b value.

Problem with Morse in fantasy is that he's rarely ever going to get more than 3 ABs in a game. He's out by the 5th or 6th innings most days for a defensive replacement.
