Not only that, but the balls he tagged up on were extremely shallow. That was fun to see!

Thing was like a glorified infield fly... :-S

Jeremy Guthrie
Trevor Bauer

Any opinions on these guys? Who in this group has top 30 SP upside if any?

Bauer and McCallister, other than that forget the rest for traditional 5x5

I heard Karabell talking about Bauer shortly after posting. Pulled the trigger adding him and dropping Taylor Jordan. Bauer probably has a lot more K upside at least.

Edit: Just saw that Bauer is a 26th man exemption because of the double header and likely to be sent down immediately after. Well we'll see what happens. No other starting pitcher has yet jumped out at me as eminently ownable in a standard league.

I know it's kind of early to suggest as much, but could Jackie Bradley Jr. have some post hype sleeper appeal? He was a trendy late OF last year in drafts, but after a poor 2013 and losing out on his roster spot to Sizemore in 2014, I think most had left him for dead fantasywise.

8/20 coming into today and he finally drew a couple of walks; I know they're still hitting him 9th and his hold on a roster spot is tenuous when Victorino comes back, but I'm still intrigued.

Missed the first 10 pitches of the Met game... turned it on just in time to see Heyward take Wheeler yard on pitch 11 to lead-off the game... :-P

It's early but Morrow has 5 K in 2 IP. Looks unhittable right now.
Of course I have jinxed him.

Wouldn't be surprised to see that there were 8 ER go to with those 5 K in 2 IP. Morrow Being Morrow.

9 up 9 down with 6 k in 3 IP
97 mph with plenty of movement and the slider is working.
The boulder sized grain of salt is that he's facing the Astros. But it's a good spot start with hope for a few more.

Also raptors up 66-56 on the 76ers in the 2nd and the Habs 0-0 at the first break against the Blackhawks. Awesome sports night.

Nothing puts me in a bad mood like one of my pitchers getting crushed. Thanks Jordan Zimmermann.
