Ibanez with a game tying 3 run hr in the 9th for his 2000th hit. Valverde had 2 outs and nobody on and still managed to blow it.

i actually had him on all three rosters before the season began. a couple of those are no bench leagues. oh and no holds either. I brought it up in the closers thread, and asked the group if maybe we had missed the boat. The signs were there.

Great, Cobb placed on the DL with a left oblique strain. I didn't even know he was hurt. Cobb, Paxton, and Uehara all getting hurt for me... My pitching staff won't be at the top for much longer at this rate.

Seriously. Apparently he injured himself early in the game and still spun a gem. Gamer but hopefully he didn't do more harm than good.
