That's something I would expect from Kimbrel maybe, but it's super impressive for a guy who wasn't even owned by anyone until he had a chance at getting saves (not counting holds leagues). And this isn't random, everyone knows about K-Rod, he's never been in the zone like this. Let's hope he can keep this up!

Meh he's K'd a bunch of guys that have K'd 91 times this season so ya he's looking good v. the guys he should look good against and I wish I had him on a team.

C.Johnson - 10 K's
Gattis - 7
Gomes - 13
Bogarts - 9
Napoli - 14
Ruiz - 7
Ashche - 11
Alvarez - 8
Martin - 6
Walker - 6

I don't care who he's facing, those numbers are impressive. He's not going to hand the job back to Henderson if he can keep pitching even close to this well.

You want McCann this year they said. He's undervalued they said. He'll put up top 3 numbers they said.

3 RBI 6 TB .162 AVG with 6 K's

And yet K-Rod has been the only one to look that dominant against them.

Who said he'd put up top 3 numbers? I think he'll be ok, but not elite.

I'd rather have Perez, Lucroy, Wieters, in addition to the obvious guys. I'd still be optimistic he can be top 10, but then again, it's also conceivable that guys who are available in a lot of leagues, like Pierzynski, Gattis, Russell Martin etc. will be just as good or better.

Lots of guys were talking top 3 catcher, Rotoballer.com springs to mind. I think it's maaaaybe possible. Just venting after I got pulled into the hype (per thread title). "This is the first year he's had a healthy offseason- he is training instead of rehabbing. This will be his career year. With that ballpark 30 bombs is easily within grasp."
All of this could still be true. Sooner the better :)

And he just homered. Luckily we have over 5 and a half months of baseball to go! :-°

Still, if he homers again today, I'd consider selling "high" if someone believes.

Edit: and what do you know? He did.

Adam Eaton is a guy who could end up scoring 120 Rs this year. Glad I got him super cheap in one auction because I hadn't really bought in like some had in preseason.
