Well, my week somewhat boils down to today... Strasburg, Salazar, and Cole all toeing the rubber (whenever I've used that phrase my guys have pitched well, so going to try and keep the streak going...) for me today. Barring a complete collapse or a mammoth weekend by my opponent, I should be able to hold on, despite a lot of action still to come. My remaining starts for the week, after today's 3 are:

Jose Fernandez @PHI, Julio Teheran vsWSH, Alex Wood vsWSH, Wade Miley vsLAD, and Corey Kluber @CHW. Trying to figure out if I should spot somewhere or roll with those 5. We'll have to see how things shake out today and tomorrow.

In other news, Coco Crisp is still out today. Hoping for a return tomorrow.

In other other news, if he's available, you want Kole Calhoun. You want him. He bats lead-off in front of Mike Trout and Albert Pujols (and until yesterday, Josh Hamilton). You want that guy on your team.

Gerrit Cole looks strong even if the stat line doesn't show it. Lots of ground balls sneaking through the infield and a lot of defensive miscues. Not to mention an extremely questionable call at the plate calling Castro safe at home when the ball appeared to beat him by a mile.

Until Harper starts being as aggressive at the plate as he is everywhere else, he's not going to do much offensively. His swing just isn't snapping around the way it was the last two years. Where's the 17 year old kid who was hitting 118 mph line drive home runs? Hope he figures it out sooner than later.

They bumped him down to I think 6 last night without Hamilton. Not sure if that was a sign of something to come or something that had to do with the pitching matchup with Elias being a lefty.

What makes you say this the day after he hits a triple deck moonshot? He also had a first pitch opposite field line drive last night as well as a first pitch flyout today so far.

The pitch he hit yesterday was on an excuse me I was just trying to foul it off swing low and in. The kid still has tremendous power I just think he's sacrificing too much of it by not being aggressive more often.
