Cingrani, Lackey and Kazmir for me today. Also I have Moore in one league but I don't count him because he came with the team I inherited :-L Some dude in that league kept Moore and McCann and threw Beltre and Encarnacion back into the pool. That's a good way to get kicked from your league I suppose

Rolling Kluber vs the Padres today since YOLO. San Diego is averaging a cool 2.0 Runs/Game through 2 series, and make the Met offense look like Murderer's Row. If Kluber doesn't get a QS today I'll probably send his family a nasty letter and kick his ass to the curb. Patience? We don't need no stinkin' patience!

Someone making me lose my patience already is Ryan Zimmerman, who couldn't make it through one week without requiring an MRI and a day off. Last year I got his studliness after his impatient owner finally gave up on him, and now it looks like I'm the one who will suffer through the frustration over the course of the year. I was hoping that Mous would be a decent handcuff for him after his Spring, but he's still busy being Mous. Currently trying to move one of my extra Closers to a team who needs them and has extra 3B.

What are your guys thoughts on the following players after 1 Week:
- Adam Eaton
- Melky Cabrera
- Jose Abreu
- Adam LaRoche

- Melky Cabrera

I still think he is who we thought he is. I expect a 15-15 season from the Melk with a good batting average and decent (145-160) R+RBI.

Jose Abreu

He's still wide open. I was happy to see he didn't look over matched to staart the season when the lights came on. If he stays around that 17-18% k-rate he will have a decent average when you consider he should hit 25-30 HR. I'm glad I got him as a Util in 1 league and have sent some feelers for him in my other two. I have him just outside my top-10 1Bs as a risk/reward guy like Belt and Rizzo.

Thank god I have A-Ram and Brad Miller for my 2B/3B... Because Brett Lawrie sucks! Still stashing him because of upside...

Guys that I'm forced to be patient with but have not had great starts are Bryce Harper and Justin Upton. I wouldn't be so annoyed with these 2 guys if they weren't striking out so much.

And Hort I would own all of those players you mentioned. I would probably rank them Abreu, Melky, Laroche, Eaton. Melky doesn't have a walk yet, but he is hitting the ball hard and looks like he could be the 2011-2012 Melky.

Next year I promise to pay heed to another Upton before I draft an Upton. :*)
