Anybody watching Cleveland v. Minnesota? Looks like Salazar had a rough first inning and backed it up with a decent enough 2nd. 40 pitches through 2 IP is not great given the talk of a strict pitch/inning count, potentially.

You aren't starting him in the one I'm in! :-b

Touche, I forgot about that one. At least I had Smyly in, that was a nice W with great other numbers.

Took Trumbo in just about every league I'm in, currently carrying my offenses. He's a 1st half player, I plan to sell high come mid June

poor Billy. He can't get a hit, so the skipper put him in as PR. He then promptly gets thrown out stealing 2nd... :-t

Just one start, but I wasn't impressed with Salazar at all today. He hit upper 90's with a low 80's change-up as advertised, so the stuff is there... I'm just not impressed with him as a pitcher. Doesn't have confidence in anything but his fastball when he's down in the count. He was hit hard but escaped with only 2 earned runs. Pretty luck I'd say, and it was only the Twins today.

It's a long season and he should be better than this, but I had no desire to own him this year considering his price. He hasn't stayed healthy at all for his whole minor league career and the sample size last year was too small.

Masahiro Tanaka's final line against the Jays will be 7IP 6 hits 1 walk 9K's and 2 ER's.

Nice guess! And Chase Utley homered, the guy before Byrd.

am i the only one that thinks mattingly should demote him?
Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig is being benched for showing up late Friday, April 4, and OF Matt Kemp will take his place in the lineup for his season debut.

Fantasy Tip: Puig has quickly found his way onto Don Mattingly's bad side. If Puig puts up numbers, Mattingly will be forced to keep him in the lineup. But if Puig struggles for a stretch, his off-the-field problems may cause him to ride pine more often than not.
